The new term is well underway, though not as we would all have hoped.  With home learning here for the immediate future and only a restricted number of students being educated in school, the impact on family life remains significant.

We have recently introduced the ‘live streaming’ of lessons in order to provide support for students who are finding home learning challenging.  This, coupled with pre-recorded lessons and banks of learning resources, should go some way to alleviate the stress of trying to learn outside of the normal classroom routine.

We will be making contact with every parent and student over the next few weeks to check on students’ engagement with home learning.  In the meantime, if you have any issues with home learning, please direct these to your child’s Head of Learning:

Year 7: Ms Davies ([email protected])
Year 8: Ms Howells ([email protected])
Year 9: Mrs Nolan ([email protected])
Year 10: Mr Gardiner ([email protected])
Year 11: Mrs T. Thomas ([email protected])
Years 12/13: Mrs K. Thomas ([email protected])

On behalf of the staff and governors of Bryn Celynnog, I would like to thank you for your continued support and messages of encouragement.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if we can be of help.

Best wishes,

Debra Baldock
Headteacher
